The project
This project was developed after Jun Cordon and Moly Kane met in Febuary 2019 at the International Short Flm Festival in Clermont Ferrand. It was officially released at the Cannes Film Festival and was part of the official selection at the Festival Dakar Court. The project’s aim was to allow young Senegalese students on their way to becoming professionals to hone their technical skills by pairing them with members of the crew who would act as mentors (one professional to one student). This would allow the students to improve their skills and to create a team dynamic in which each member could learn from the others.
