Embarkation – Short film

Director: Jun Cordon / Length: 12.49 min / Year: 2017 / Production: 29.11 Productions

Synopsis
Beatrice is in her fifties and can’t get on the plane to go and meet her lover. Something is stopping her from doing so and so she wanders around the departure lounge. She meets Vincent, a pleasant, light-hearted man in his forties.

The project
This project was thought up by Jun Cordon and Diane Valsonne during a course in directing and camera work in 2016. The course was led by Alain Prioul and organised by the Maison du Film.
Thanks to the support of Angers Loire Airport and its Director, Jean-Pierre Stagnaro, we were able to make this short film despite challenging conditions.
60 extras were involved in this film.
We would like to thank Bertrand Thibault, both an actor in the film and very active in executive production.
